Jessica Alba joined other stars to help raise money for green charity. In honor of Earth Day (April 22), The Sak’s eco-extension, Sakroots, is hosting a celebrity bag auction. The auction is supporting The Nature Conservancy’s Plant a Billion Trees campaign.

For each dollar contributed to the initiative, one tree will be planted. Starting on the 8th and running to the 22nd, a celebrity autographed sakroots Pax Eco Weekender will be up for grabs, signed by Robin Wright Penn, Rosie Perez, Blair Underwood, Justine Bateman, Jessica Alba, Alec Baldwin, Sandra Oh and Mena Suvari.

Back on the west coast following a trip to New York City, Jessica Alba was spotted visiting the shops of Beverly Hills on Tuesday afternoon (March 31).

The “Sin City” starlet snuck a small gift-wrapped box into her bag during a coffee shop stop, the proceeding along with her retail excursion.

As for the recent trip to NYC, insiders are claiming that Jess and hubby Cash Warren are planning a move to the Big Apple to raise their family.

A tabloid source tells: “Jessica and Cash met with lots of different realtors to view several apartments. They like the idea of living in Manhattan and are interested in particular in properties under construction so they can have some involvement in what the place looks like.”

Jessica Alba looked stunning in a one-shouldered orange and black Narcisco Rodriguez at the American Museum of Natural History’s Museum Dance. But her best accessory of the evening was her husband Cash Warren, looking handsome himself in a traditional tux.

Jessica Alba was all in black and let Honor’s pants make the statement out in LA yesterday before Jess went out to lunch with a friend. Now that Spring is in the air, the ladies will have even more gorgeous days for the park playdates they love so much, plus a very special first birthday for Honor in June.
